The story

A dazzling trompe-l'œil by Shaun Devenney (DEV): figures in yellow coats ride a painted escalator up a Lady Lane gable, a man and his dog at the foot, with the real Paisley Abbey rising in the skyline behind. Signed Devenney 2025, it's one of the trail's newest showstoppers.

You'll find it on Lady Lane in Paisley town centre — a free, self-guided walk that takes in fifty-two painted walls across the old streets.

Shaun Devenney (DEV) has 3 murals on the trail in total. Look out for their other work as you walk the route.

The mural is on a public street, free to view, and visible day or night — though you'll get the best photos in daylight. Use the interactive trail map to plan your walk.
